I have always been drawn to the intersection of raw performance and elegant user experience. What began as an obsession with low-level network packets, Linux kernel tuning, and real-time socket communication naturally evolved into architecting mission-critical platforms capable of serving high concurrency with minimal hardware footprints.
Rather than building generic clones or over-engineered boilerplate, I focus on solving difficult, high-leverage technical problems:
- How do you deliver broadcast-quality live sports video to 100,000+ simultaneous viewers with sub-2.5 second latency over standard HTTP? (Answered in my SportyXi case study).
- How do you process 10,000 financial ticks per second without memory leaks or garbage collection pauses in Python and Go? (Solved in Market Pilot).
- How do you eliminate LLM hallucinations using semantic vector spaces and knowledge graphs? (Engineered in Vaxa AI).
The Creation of SportyXi
One of my defining engineering undertakings is SportyXi, a modern digital sports streaming platform. Frustrated by the sluggish 30-second delays, ad-infested layouts, and constant stream buffering typical of conventional sports websites, I set out to architect an alternative from first principles.
Operating as both founder and lead architect, I developed a custom Low-Latency HLS (LL-HLS) pipeline backed by single-flight mutex origin shielding. Today, SportyXi delivers sub-second telemetry and crystal-clear match streams to global audiences daily.
Core Engineering Values
Every kilobyte of JavaScript sent down the wire must justify its existence. Lightweight code runs faster, breaks less, and respects user battery life.
Complex distributed architectures fail in complex, un-debuggable ways. I prefer battle-tested primitives: Nginx, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Linux namespaces.
Interfaces should get out of the way. No intrusive marketing modals, no deceptive dark patterns, and no sensory clutter.
True product builders understand both the code and the business model. Technical decisions must always align with long-term product viability.
